Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and enjoyed Sappington's Spring Fling! This week we are continuing with the Math Map test. We will be testing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. Our schedule will continue to have specials from 2:25-3:15. Today will be our final day to get students ready for the Math test. I know they will do great. Please continue to make sure your child is getting a good night's sleep and eating a good breakfast. I appreciate all of your help with this! Only one more week to go!
In the afternoons we are going to begin our fractured fairy tale unit. We will study the traditional form of the fairy tale and then a fractured version. We will also be putting on plays. Today, I will be explaining our fourth quarter book project to students. They are going to be recommending a book for students to read over summer, so it can be a book they read this quarter or about any book they have read this year. We are going to be completing this project on Edmodo. I will be teaching students how to navigate this website this afternoon. They can work on this project at home or at school. There is a 5 point extra credit project listed on the site as well that students can complete.
Progress Reports are coming home on Friday.
School Store is this Thursday.
This Sunday we have our Music Performance at Lindbergh High School's Auditorium at 4:00 p.m. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the show! I hope to see you all there!
We have bowls, spoons, chocolate syrup, oreo crumbles, marshmallow cream, and strawberry syrup for our ice cream sundae. Thank you for all of your donations! I can't wait to celebrate all of our students' hard work!
Have a wonderful week! Let me know any questions you have!
